Apparently no one bought a single ticket for the show so the promoter thought it would be better to pull the plug. Sorry! No one could be more disappointed than we were!

art rocker says your playing may 23rd at the buffalo bar. is that likely to happen, if so… ill come down… had to work and thus missed the london barfly show…

Kafel – sorry we weren’t able to come to France, but as Ronnie mentioned it was not our decision. Hopefully there will be a next time! Thank you!

Jerome – maybe that next time will be in Lyon! If not, and it’s in Paris, we hope to see you there. It’s really great to hear that you enjoy our band.

Joe – great to meet and speak with you as well! Not sure about that Buffalo Bar show on the 23rd…we might play an Art Rocker show on the 16th, though. Once the UK dates for May are confirmed they will definitely be posted on this site! Sorry you couldn’t make it to the Barfly show but hope to see you soon!

Starky – it would be great to come to Russia but I’m not sure when that will happen!

Sami – we get out to New Brunswick at least twice a year so it shouldn’t be too long before we return. Nothing’s planned yet but as soon as we have Canadian dates you’ll find them on this site. See you in Moncton!

Homam – wow! Thanks for coming to so many of our shows. Unfortunately, you won’t see us on May 9th, as we don’t have plans to play Ottawa (my hometown) on that night. If I’m wrong, you should see the date posted here very soon. Anyway, it probably won’t be long before we’re back in O-Town. Thanks for asking!

just got an email advertising you guys opening for the cult in winnipeg this summer! very special guests it listed you guys under no less – congrats! that’s a pretty big time show at the mts centre. ah the cult – brings back my ol’ skateboarding days in new brunswick.

Hey Craig – we weren’t sure when all of this would be confirmed, but I’ve heard House of Blues is making announcements, so…

This is all still pretty surreal to me. The whole band loves The Cult. I grew up with The Cult! The last time I saw them, I was 15, and it was their last Canadian tour. (I think I saw them at the Ottawa Congress Centre. We’re supposed to play with them in Ottawa this time around, but I’m not sure about the venue.)

I’m a little nervous!

Craig – yep, looks like we’re playing the BluesFest. Weird. Come early and catch the Meligrove Band, who are on right before us. They’re lovely!

O – it’s still surreal to me. I feel like I’m thirteen again. Wait…you better not be making fun of Ian Astbury or I will spread nasty rumours about you around the Magneta Lane camp. Do you know that you’re thanked BY NAME in the liner notes of their new album? Well done, Omar.

Hahahah, yeah the liner thanks is aaaawesome, Alex circled it when he put the CD into the station library for rotation.

As for Mr. Astbury…Nirmala, we all know you absolutely LOVE the Doors…21st Century!

...seriously though, that Cult gig is pretty daaamn awesome.
