The Nate Manning "Exhibit"

Posted Apr 27, 23:36 by Nirmala Basnayake

We met the dashing Mr Manning on March 7, 2006, in the back room of Seattle’s Fun House. He seduced us into carousing with stuffed birds and playing a Scruples-esque game, except without the board and with much more damning questions. He called it an “interview” but we’ve been in enough darkened basements to know better. Just as we suspected, photo-taking eventually entered the, er, picture. He promised that he wouldn’t post the shots on the internet, so we went ahead and posted them ourselves. Nobody’s gonna exploit us but us!

Curious? Check the Promo Shots section of our Gallery for Nate’s lovely photographs.

Jim Reid(!)’s amp! (quelling slight waves of jealousy) is this the Jim who was my teen-era musical boyfriend? I used to imagine hints of JMC in your early live shows (though you are more lively and have better hair).
Hope the new tour is going well.

Cindy/lowercase – yes, it was indeed THAT Jim Reid, though we never met him (so your jealousy should subside). Do we really have better hair? Those curly mops were pretty great.
