Even More Photos

Nirmala has posted not just the remaining photos from the Fall Tour, but lots of other great shots including a sneak peek behind-the-scenes-look at the upcoming current Eye Magazine cover shoot. If you’re really sharp, you’ll also see some of the new t-shirt designs being handsomely modelled. Ok, actually here’s a link and here’s another. At this rate we’re going to have to develop a photo index and browser!


Halifax pictures are up, and I’m in the first one! that’s awesome! question: is that K-os three pictures over from mine?? At stage nine, this guy said “excuse me.” and walked by me. My friend matt (in the picture) and I were both like “k-os???”. haha, quite funny. The pictures are great! thanks, guys! :)

Thanks for the heads-up post, Kevin! I like the bookmarking tip to the right of the photos as well. Unfortunately, the Eye Cover Shoot photos aren’t exactly a sneak peek, just behind-the-scenes stuff. The issue featuring us, with Scotty looking like Beethoven on the very great cover, is currently on the street. Danena – I love that photo of you and Matt! If you see the lovely CF (aka Creepy Fag), tell him his photo is up now, too. As for the “stranger” to your right in the Latest/Recent Photos section, I can neither confirm nor deny your guess, though I will say that you can find another photo of this gentleman in the Friends section. When I raised my camera to take his photo he said, “Ah! you don’t need a picture,” but when I showed him his cropped head he was cool with it.

oh man.i hate the photograph song by nickelback. HATE!
and the worst part is that everytime it comes on, since it starts with the voice, you are forced to listen to a piece of that crap lol i change it everytime..sorry if someone likes the song

yes that was k-os! ahah me and my friend got there alittle early so we were sitting down and he walked by playing with his cell and we were both like “whaaaaaaaa” hahah. we wanted to say hi but we didnt know if he was nice or not so we played it cool.
ps. i think im in one of the halifax pics! i know its goign to be horible ahha. i bought pins from you hehhe

Candice – if I took a photo of you at the merch booth then you are definitely in one of the Halifax pictures. None of the people in those shots looks horrible so you have nothing to fear! If you haven’t seen it yet, go to the Gallery section and click on the Friends category link, then keep clicking on the Older Photos link until you reach the Halifax group.

haha! I find it funny that you call Matt emo, Simon. He is pretty much a self-proclaimed emo boy. Did you know that? aha there’s something I have to ask you about that situation. also, I got my pictures developed from that night. I’ll have to do some posting on the H-locals, eh? We look greattt in the picture, lol. I also have a picture with every member in controller.controller. I’ll have to post that on the forum, or something. Finally, that WAS K-os!! Wow, that’s great! I’ve never seen him in person, and I could not (for the life of me) understand why he would be in Nova Scotia. So, I simply shrugged him off as a ‘look-alike’. I would have talked to him, if I knew it was him. I have mad respect for him. Ah well! great night, nonetheless!!

Hey, nice pics, I’m the one with the glasses, reasonably long dark hair, and white controller controller t shirt over a black long sleeved shirt. I was expecting to look a lot worse in that picture, surprisingly I don’t look as sweaty as I was (look at the group photo near mine and the guy bending over in the white T shirt is my friend who I was at front and center with)... Anyway, the pavilion show rocked!

Julien – it looks like your eyes are actually red and not just afflicted with red eye from the flash (which is in fact the case). Next time I will look more closely at your irises, just in case it wasn’t my camera playing tricks.

Mitch – I like that photo of you! Congratulations on staying cool at the Pavilion, which remains (literally) the hottest venue in Halifax. See you next time we’re in town!

Craig – hi! Hope the other Craig liked his photo as well. I’ll keep you posted on the progress of the online store. I can’t wait for it myself! Good luck with your exams, and see you in Ottawa (fingers crossed).....

Nah, that’s alright. I’m just, not extremely vain, I guess. Hope you get your Spring dates soon, so I can camp out for tickets, or hey, I might even on the guest list again, which was awesome.

As for the Throw Your Underwear (Female) category, I’d say that we might as well hand the trophy to Emily Haines right now. The odds aren’t good for someone like me, especially on a list of 50 women (including all three Magenta Janes)! However, as they say, it is an honour to be nominated.

anyhow, you definitely have my vote for sexiest female singer in canada, Nirmala! haha that’s too much fun. ahh, forget about Metric’s Emily.. i hope you win! Also, i had no clue that Jeff directed Black History Month for dfa1979. that’s an amazing video!!! all of the dfa fans LOVED it, including myself! k-os makes an appearance in it, as well. He just enjoys making appearances around you all, doesn’t he? haha
